My client is looking to recruit a Java/ J2EE Technical Architect to be involved in a range of high profile projects with their clients.
You will ideally come from a consultancy background and have strong hands on experience as a J2EE Architect.
As an Architect you will be either based on client site or in the offices in Ipswich. The role will require you to have:
-A proven track record in designing and delivering complex enterprise-scale Java/ J2EE solutions.
-Good hands-on development skills in Java/ J2EE and related technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JMS and Struts).
-Strong experience of Application Servers (preferably including IBM WebSphere).
-Experience and knowledge of Relational Databases (i.e. IBM UDB/ DB2 and Oracle).
-Experience with multiple platforms (i.e. Windows 2000, AIX, HP-UX and Solaris).
-Involvement across the full project lifecycle (to successful deployment).
